"Ami" or "עַמִּי" is a Hebrew word meaning "my people" - and we want to create social spaces, events, and opportunities for connection for all of "our people":
the Jewish LGBT Community in Chicago.
Our mission is to create a warm, joyful, and meaningful space for LGBT Jews of every background to come together for Shabbat. We celebrate the diversity of our community, honor Jewish tradition in all its forms, and strengthen the bonds that unite us through shared meals, friendship, and pride.
